Attendance
Attendance at our once a month meeting, as well as the agreed upon activities
by NHS, are very important. Our large membership allows for many to glean from participation in meaningful pilanthropies,
feature NHS on their transcript, and be a part of the "blue cord crew" at graduation. The latter honors are earned by
the former commitment.
With a second meeting in place as make-up this year, the issue of attendance should be almost
non-existent. Make-up meetings are held the following Tuesday or Thursday (depending on the meeting day) in room 208. Be there
by 7:00, preferably around 6:50. You must plan accordingly. Short of an illness that keeps you out of school for both
meeting days, or being out of town for both days, there is no reason, with such advanced notice, to miss a meeting.
Consequences
There will be no more free warnings, 1st absense is 5 extra hours community service
-Termination will be sought after the second unexcused absence.
